I went with my cousin Chloe, for 2 days. We fooled around lots, but had excellent fun. We were collecting petals after the wind blew them on us, and gave us an idea to put flower petals in the bathtub. A faster way to do this was to shake the branches of the tree so some petals would fall, so I decided to go pluck a petal, and apparently all of them were loose... and the tree rained down on us. OOPS!

Yes, I got yelled at, luckily there were no park officials nearby. 98 years ago, these cherry clossom trees were given to washington by Japan to symbolize a friendship. So much for the bombing in pearl harbor...
